Thomas Edrington Wells was born in Kentucky on 3/4/1809.
His Civil War pension applicaton says that he was bornin Shelby Co Kentucky.
he was in the St. Louis area for awhile and deeds show him doing business with CARTY WELLS.
Does anyone have information s to who might have been thomas' father, mother, brothers, sisters?

"I remember mother (Relief Anne Flanders) telling me abut her father, Benjamine and his brother John coming to this country. As well as I can remember, they came from France or Spain. I wonder if it was Flanders, France, and I wonder why they call it Flanders? I never heard her say where Grandma (Sarah DeWitt) came from. I never heard her say whether Grandpa had any other brothers or sisters. I only heard her speak of Uncle John and he never married. He went to war and they never heard from him any more.
