Dear Harold,
I just came across your web site and you will see my surprise. My ancestory is as follows:
Anita Kraft (me)
mother : Gloria Kraft
Grandmother : Viola Vest
Great Grandfather: Zerobable Vest
Great Great Grandfather: Andrew Vest
Great x 3 : Zerobable Vest
Great x 4: Elisha Vest m. Francis Etherington (daughter of William Ethington) May 16, 1827 Henry County, Kentucky.
I just started working on the maternal lines of my Vest Family. I have been working on my family for over 20 years. The upside of all of this is I live outside of Louisville, KY and hop down to Henry County frequently. I am off to Woodford later this week.
I am not sure if there is anything I can do to assist, but please let me know. You have given me invaluable information and I am happy to do the same.
Sincerely,
Anita Kraft
e-mail received Sunday 25 Jul 2004:
Dear Mr. Ethington,
I have been trying to get onto the web page for some time now and
just can't seem to get on. I wanted to let you know that my husband's
grandmother is Rose Ethington. I do have information on her family on
the her mother's side. Also information on her marriages. If you are
interested please reply to this e-mail address.
Thank you,
Jaime Stapletonjaimefaye@copper.net
Now there are two Rose Ellen Ethington's that were in this area. But
I believe that my Rose had a aunt by the same name. Also my Rose was
born in Harrisonville,Cass County,MO. Once I get my information down
pat I will write to you again.
And most definitely I would love to have a hard copy. I was going to
ask if there was something available. I like the idea of books and so
forth so much better than a computer.(for the obvious reasons!)
Thank you for helping me out. I appreciate it.Jaime F. Stapleton
