Manuscript History of the Kentucky Ethington Family by James William Ethington
Elizabeth Vance, wife of Hiram Etherington is buried in the Old
Union cemetery, Russell Cave Pike (probably in Fayette County
Kentucky). She was 97 years old, was born in 1789, died in 1886.
According to the Fayette county marriage records, they were
licensed to marry 14 Aug 1851 therefore she was 62 years old at
that time. Perhaps she was a widow.
