MOSES HARROD might be related to LOUIS B. HARROD who married NELLIE ANN DUVALL (b. Sep 1896 - sister of his wife, MARY JANE DUVALL.)
He might also be related to ALFRED MELROSE PEFFER'S who married BESSIE DUVALL (b. Nov 1894, dau of EDWARD MORTON DUVALL and MARY CATHERINE PFEIFFER) His mother is LIZZLE HANNAH HARROD, relative of the HARROD line of Ft. Harrodsburg, Ky.
MOSES HARROD and MARY JANE DUVALL went west (Kansas) in a covered wagon after their marriage. They settled there and as far as is known, they never returned to Kentucky.
According to "The rest of the story..." (from Twyager@AOL.com, via email May 1998):
"They eloped - stole away in a covered wagon and left only dust and questions behind them!
My grandmother's sister had some correspondence with MARY and her descendants. My grandmother did not appear to know who this MOSES HARROD was, therefore, I do not think he was closely related with our Harrod clan - although they were certainly related in some way!"

Inquiry about a Catherine F. Etherington from John and Aggie Vawter. See the Catherine F. Etherington file.
e-mail dated 24 Feb 1999 from John T Vawter to HDE
It is certain that this Catherine F. is my great grandmother. Catharine Francis Etherington married my great grandfather Samuel VAwter in 1869. They had four children: Nora, William J. John Thomas and Rena. She died in 1879 and is buried in the same cemetery with a number of other Vawters and ETheringtons including (I think) her parents and some siblings. We made a trip there in 1988 and took pictures of a number of graves. Also, I have a cemetery guide of the Prairieville Twp cemterey. And somewhere I have a photo of an ETherington-Vawter reunion taken about 1921 or 1922 which has some of the ETheringtons and Vawters including my father and my grandparents.
