I have been contacted by Charlotte Cowherd Russo, grandaughter of Sherley B. Stivers, and she states that Sherley B. Stivers is male, and his wife Raimy M. Clark is female. The genders have been incorrectly entered in the opposite. Will contact church HQ to see how to resolve this problem.

died."This daughter may be the same person as "Raimy M. Clark", daughter shown in the
1900 census.
Charlotte Cowherd Russo, grandaughter of Raimy, says that Raimy's mother was Sarah Elizabeth Harlow, born 1869, death 7/25/1941. I think this is in error, and she meant that Sherley Stivers mother was Sarah Elizabeth Harlow.

Hi, I recently sent you a letter but did not receive a response so I'll try e-mail.
I found on your site my grandfather's name. You had it spelled Becham Wood (actually correctly spelled Beckham) You showed him married to Ressie Clark (my grandmother) and one son Earl Dean (my uncle) I would really like to know any, I mean any little thing that you might remember about him or where you got this tidbit of information. He was an illegitimate child of I think, Lucinda Wood and was raised part of the time by a J. L. Ethington and his wife Kitty Jane (Wood) Ethington, who was a sister of Lucinda. We never knew who his mother or father was, it was never spoken of but someone once told me that this woman was his mother. Please, please, if you have any info. I really would appreciate it no matter how insignificant it may seem to you. You had to have found something somewhere to have it on your site.
