Yes, I noticed when looking through your website that you didn't have much information on my grandmother. And you are correct about the book. It was the one published in the early 1980's.
Carrie Mabel Edenton B 19 April 1907 in Hot Springs, VA Died 17 Jan 2001 Covington, VA
She spent most of her adult life living at 1455 S. Farilawn Drive Covington, VA
She was the executive secretary of the Retail Merchants Association in Covington, VA from 1929 until she retired in 1975.
Married on 5 June 1926 to Cecil Raymond Smith B 4 Aug 1904 D 29 Oct 1982
They had two children:Alice Josephine "June" Smith B 1927 still living
Gwendolyn Rose Smith B 15 Aug 1928 Bath County, VA Died 19 March 1996 Tullahoma, Coffee County, TN married 24 June 1950 Covington, VA to Thomas Lowell Kennedy B 2 Jan 1926 D 13 Sept 1983
Gwen and Tom Kennedy had three children:
Thomas Lowell Kennedy Jr. Living currently in Deltona, FL
Karen Ann Kennedy Living currently in Liberty, MO w/ husband Frank Flemming Dixon and two daughters Samantha Michelle Dixon and Allison Renee Dixon
and ME-
Linda Louise Kennedy m Stephen Douglas Wildes Jr living in Jacksonville, FL. We have two children Megan Rose Wildes and Stephen Riley Wildes
I have also attached a picture of Carrie Mabel Edenton's father- John Thomas Edenton B 17 March 1877 D 26 Dec 1964 I have pictures, of course of my mom and grandmother too if you would like.
